Another ATC Challenge

Published by Me under Blah Blah

You would think I would get around to actually writing a post, would you ? But no I ‘m here with another challenge for ATC’s. I promise I was going to post but when I came to do that and add my challenge stuff I had to update Wordpress to the lastest version and all my plugins. This one is from The Loft, Tangie Baxter’s Design Blog. She came out with a new kit for ATC at her shop
> I have two entries for the challenge. One I think doesn’t fit but I’ve been wanting to try a digital gothic arch window ATC.

Without further ado here they are

Dusting off the old blog

Published by Me under Blah Blah

I can’t believe I only managed a couple of posts in 07. Could say it was my glamorously busy lifestyle. But that would be a whooper and some what hard for those that know me hard to swallow. :P I can say however that I have taken slackerdom to new heights in 07. What can I say the best laid plans of mice and men. I think there is more to that quote. I do hope to really start back blogging and posting my little bits of art/or whatnot’s. What has inspired me to post ? A challenge over at CDR’s blogAuthentic Artistry that and the promise of an alpha.

I made an ATC using some vintage images from some of CRD’s kits, collage sheets and my own embarrassingly large stash of empherma. It was fun being able to do some other than just OOw and ahh over it. Even scanned some of mine old cabinet card photos in to do a layout with. Thanks for the challenge.

The play bill, Paris poster aid, photo, stamp is from my personal collection.

Okay to the challenge part. I took the post card from the New Years kit over layed it with some vintage paper from one of my books. messed around with the opacity of the layer and did a burn on it. Smudge around a few of my brushes. Then added some postal brushes and an old stamp of mine. Added some text that was in the kit. Then I put Mle. Fifi’s name on one of the blank calling cards in the New Years kit. I was playing on doing a layout but I kept finding things I wanted to add and had to scan in and I knew I would miss the challenge deadline. :P
